Minimum age: 18. The Gaming Law (Lei n.º 1/2010) bars under-18s from casino gaming rooms, and the IGJ's player-protection rules extend the ban on under-18s to online games and betting.
Tax on winnings
Unverified. We could not confirm in a primary or Big-4 source whether tax is withheld from sports-betting winnings in Mozambique. Non-Big-4 tax guides describe a 10% final IRPS withholding on winnings from social games such as lotteries and mutual betting, and say casino and fixed-odds betting winnings fall outside it. Until confirmed, we publish no rate.
