Is online sabong legal in the Philippines?

No. All online sabong (e-sabong) is suspended nationwide under Executive Order No. 9 of 28 December 2022. No online sabong site is legit in the Philippines.

The order sets no end date. Traditional cockfights in cockpits authorised or licensed under existing laws are not covered.

PAGCOR coordinates implementation; the DILG and the Philippine National Police act against violators. In March 2026 police raided an online cockfighting hub in Tondo, Manila, and said more hubs would be closed.
